Emirates airfares from Dh935 during school break

Emirates Airlines is offering special discounted fares for travel during the summer months in both economy and business class to over 90 destinations. Passengers will need to book by April 10 for outbound travel between May 1 and July 22, 2014.

Flights within the Middle East start at Dh935 for economy and Dh3,235 in business class; for Asia & the Pacific, tickets are priced beginning Dh1,275 and Dh4,005 for the two classes, respectively.

One can fly to Europe starting Dh1,615 in economy and Dh8,015 in business; to Africa starting Dh1,565and Dh5,755 and to North & South America starting at Dh4,075 in economy and Dh16,825 in the higher class.

The best part of the latest price cut that comes from Emirates is that the flying dates will coincide with the school summer holiday period in the country, when many families opt to fly out of the country.

Several other airlines have slashed their ticket prices in the past couple of months to get more people to fly during the current off-peak travel period but Emirates’ offer extends to the summer break period when a number of expats prefer to travel.

Last month, Turkish Airlines had introduced a special fare at Dh999 to Istanbul from the UAE, all inclusive, making it a lot more affordable than the regular price.

The special price tickets can still be bought until the 16th of this month and passengers need to fly between the 1st of May and the 15th of June.

Emirates Airlines, too, had slashed fares on its African routes last month. The deal that ended just two days back had special rates to various destinations to the continent.
