Emirates, Etihad to London, Paris on schedule

Air travel eases after three days of snow chaos in Europe

Passengers snowed in these past few days have reason to cheer as both Emirates and the Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways have resumed most of its flights to London Heathrow.

Dubai’s Emirates, which was earlier forced to route a flight to London’s Gatwick airport due to the weather on one occasion, is expected its 9.20am flight to depart on time, with minor delays; meanwhile, the airline’s five daily flights are showing no change.

Etihad Airways is operating also resuming flights, with EY19 being the only one delayed from its daily three.

Meanwhile, inbound too only sees EY20 delayed from its 1.50pm departure from Heathrow.

Paris, which has also been forced to cancel flights these past few days due to heavy snow, is also expecting normal air traffic conditions via some carriers, with Emirates and Etihad resuming its daily flights to the French capital.
