Empower, the largest district cooling service provider in the region today launched an e-payment system on its website. The new service is part of wider Customer Relation Management (CRM) initiatives now being implemented by Empower.

The new service will allow Empower’s customer to visit the website and perform almost all the activities related to their district cooling consumption bills, such as viewing the outstanding amount, statements, making payments and getting an online receipt.

Commenting on the new service, Ahmad Bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer of Empower said: “The system has been launched based on a detailed survey conducted among our customers across various user communities.

“Empower’s ever and fast-growing customer base made it necessary to install easier payment methods for all our customers. By launching this online payment facility, cooling bills can now be paid from anywhere in the world through Empower’s website. This helps customers to avoid bills accumulating and possible fines,” Bin Shafar explained.

To make it easier for customers, a detailed user-manual is also available on the company’s website (www.empower.ae) which explains to first-time users how to use Empower’s e-payment system and also demonstrates how they can pay with credit cards.

In addition to the new e-payment system, Empower customers can also pay their bills at Customer Service Centres at Dubai Healthcare City and Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), as well as through Emirates NBD Cash Deposit Machines and Bank Transfer, and through direct debit from credit cards.

Empower, which is a joint venture between DEWA and Dubai Technology & Media Free Zone, currently provides district cooling services at several prominent developments in Dubai, including Dubai International Finance Centre, Dubai Healthcare City, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Al Khail Gate and Ghuroob Mirdif.
