Etisalat starts 'Wasel International Add-on' to 3 more countries

Etisalat has introduced the addition of three countries to its popular 'Wasel International Add-on' service, which allows prepaid customers to make international calls for the same price as local calls.

Etisalat Wasel customers now do not need to worry about high costs when talking to their friends and families in 10 countries: Pakistan, India, Nepal, Egypt, Iran, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China and Nigeria.

They will pay only 0.5 fils per second (equivalent to 30 fils per minute) - the same rate as domestic calls - when they call these three destinations.

This service is valid for calling all fixed and mobile numbers in Pakistan, India, Nepal, Iran, Bangladesh and China; while when calling Afghanistan, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Nigeria, the low price is valid only for calls made to Etisalat numbers, the company said in a press release.
