'Etisalat UAE' app hits quarter million downloads

Etisalat revealed the latest figure of over a quarter million users who have downloaded the company’s new mobile app ‘Etisalat UAE’ in just over a month.

The telecom operator’s interactive self-care app offers customers smart services on their devices, including mobile account tracking, bill payments, instant subscription to packages and bundles, parking payments etc.

The company said that the high number of downloads confirms the growing demand for mobile content and services in the UAE.

“We launched the Etisalat UAE app as an essential and valuable channel of interaction with our customers who are increasingly using their mobile devices for routine services round the clock,” said Khaled ElKhouly, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat.

New data from the telecom firm also highlighted the popularity of the app’s live chat feature which Etisalat said is regularly used by travellers as well who enquire about its roaming packs most suited to their voice calls or data requirements.
The app is available on all platforms for free download – iOS, BlackBerry, Android and Windows.
