Dubai-based Flydubai has announced direct flights to Quetta in Pakistan, commencing on June 11, 2015 with three flights a week.

This will be airline's fourth destination to the country.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of Flydubai, said: “We have been flying to Pakistan since 2010, and we have seen a consistent demand for our services. It becomes the 14th destination we have announced this year. We see continued opportunity to grow our network across our geographic focus and connect previously underserved markets to Dubai.”

Economy Class return fares to Quetta will start at Dh1,645 and include a 7kg hand baggage allowance.

As part of its commitment to its operations to Pakistan, Flydubai will increase its 3 times weekly service to Multan to daily flights with effect from May 26. Flydubai will then operate 27 flights a week to Pakistan.

Flydubai first began flights to Pakistan in 2010 with a daily service to Karachi, which has since grown to a double daily service due to demand. Karachi was Flydubai's 20th destination on its network which has now grown to over 90 points. In 2013, flights to Sialkot and Multan were launched.
