Fog alert on road to Abu Dhabi: NCMS

Even as summer is fast settling in the Emirates, some parts witness partly cloudy skies and a rise in humidity with early morning fog reported by motorists.

An NCMS tweet alerted morning drivers to exercise caution. “Fog on the road to Ain - Abu Dhabi, and fog light on the city of Al Ain and Sharjah…” it read.

Meanwhile, temperatures will slightly increase with light to moderate winds causing dust to blow over in some internal areas, according to the national weather bureau.

The maximum temperature is likely to hit 45 degree centigrade in internal areas, while coastal areas would experience a heat of 37 degree C.

Humidity is expected to soar to 90 per cent.

Forecast for tomorrow predicts a further rise in temperature with scattered clouds over eastern areas.
