Freaky weather in UAE: It's raining!

Mountain regions in the eastern part of the country experienced light showers on Saturday.

According to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the rain was especially felt on the Mileiha-Khor Fakkan Road.

For the rest of the country, however, the NCMS forecast relatively hot to hot weather, with it becoming hazy and partly cloudy at times.

The relative humidity will continue to increase, forecast to hit 95 per cent, with a chance of mist formation.

Light to moderate winds in general, may freshen at times over some internal areas causing blowing dust, for the which the NCMS stuck with its driver alert for motorists.

According to the NCMS, temperatures for today are forecast to be 38˚C in Abu Dhabi, 39˚C in Dubai, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, 40˚C in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah, 35˚C in Fujairah and 43˚C in Al Ain.
