A meeting held here at the National Media Council, (NMC) today rallied efforts for ''Sanadhom'' campaign which is aimed at raising funds to support efforts in mitigating dire humanitarian conditions in Yemen.
The meeting was participated by Red Crescent Authority (RCA), officials and local Radio and T.V stations representatives.
The three-day drive is in line with the implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and a follow up of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Authority.
The meeting agreed on the launching date of the campaign broadcast from radio stations and television channels in Abu Dhabi next Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 6 pm to 8 pm.
