Adnoc distribution has announced reduced prices for the refilling of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders of 25 lbs capacity at its service stations in the Northern Emirates including Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Effective from November 12, 2014, Adnoc Distribution has brought down the price to Dh33 per 25 lb cylinder from its previous marked retail price of Dh40.

Khalid Hadi, Vice-President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Adnoc Distribution, said: "The reduced price announced by Adnoc Distribution today underlines our commitment to regular purchasers of LPG cylinders in the Northern Emirates. The price reduction is in line with the lower prices of global gas production."

He added: "Adnoc Distribution is seeking to develop its services and capacities in line with the growing demand for LPG cylinders, and aims to make life more convenient for our customers by passing on the reduced prices."

Adnoc Distribution currently provides more than 3,000 subsidised 25 lb gas cylinders daily at its service stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Moreover, holders of Rahal ‘E-Gas’ cards in the Northern Emirates are entitled to purchase subsidized gas cylinders.  Rahal ‘E-Gas’ is issued free of cost by the company at its offices in Sharjah or at select Adnoc service stations across the UAE.
