General Mohammed offers Eid prayers

He visited and read Al Fateha over the tomb of late Sheikh Zayed

Their Highnesses, Members of Supreme Council and Rulers of emirates and Crown Princes performed Eid Al Fitr prayers across the country on Tuesday morning.

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces offered prayers at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

After the prayer, Sheikh Mohammed and sheikhs visited and read al Fateha over the tomb of Sheikh Zayed.

Ali Al Hashimi, Judicial and Religious Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, delivered Eid sermon in which he highlighted the importance of Eid day on which Muslims thanked Allah. He stressed the noble themes of the holy month of Ramadan.

He prayed for Allah to bless President Sheikh Khalifa, members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of emirates. Al Hashimi also prayed for the souls of the Late Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Maktoum and other sheikhs.
