Google Street View is now offering a virtual journey inside the iconic twin-deck, four-aisle Airbus A380.

The A380 superjumbo is known as the world’s most-fuel efficient jet in its class, burning 20 per cent less fuel than its nearest competitor. The plane, with a wingspan of 79.8 meters can take a maximum passenger capacity of 517 people onboard and can also cover 15,000 kilometers in a single journey.

Business Class Cabins

Apart from getting the pilot’s view from the cockpit, visitors can view all the suites, including the on-board lounges and spas.

One can explore the aircraft by visiting the Google Street View website or by visiting: goo.gl/maps/JzN39

As of July 2013, Airbus has received 262 firm orders and delivered 106 aircraft. Emirates en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emirates_(airline) has ordered the most A380s with the order number touching 90.

On Board Spa

The A380 was initially offered in two models. The A380-800 original configuration carried 555 passengers in a three-class en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travel_class configuration[ or 853 passengers (538 on the main deck and 315 on the upper deck) in a single-class economy configuration.

Emirates introduced "shower spas" in first class on its A380s, along with a bar lounge and seating area on the upper deck in late 2008.

In 2009, Air France unveiled an upper deck electronic art gallery. In addition to lounge areas, some A380 operators have installed amenities consistent with other aircraft in their respective fleets, including self-serve snack bars, premium economy en.wikipedia.org sections, and redesigned business class seating.
