Groom spends wedding night in jail

A Kuwaiti bridegroom walked out of the wedding hall after the end of the party, escorted by police men instead of his bride.

Police decided to detain the groom for one night after he failed to prevent shooting in the air during the wedding.

“Instead of going to his honey moon, he went to jail….police heard shooting during the wedding but all relatives and guests denied shooting…so they decided to detain the groom as he had signed a letter pledging not to allow shooting in the air,” the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Alanba said.
