Gunshots fired in RAK family spat, husband and wife wounded

A family quarrel ended in a 47-year-old Emirati woman getting wounded by gunshots fired by her 55-year-old husband in Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday.

Colonel Abdullah Ali Menkhes Director of Criminal Investigation Police, Ras Al Khaimah, said a stray gunshot wounded the husband also as their son tried to stop his father from firing his gun.

Col. Al Menkhes said the operations room was informed about the incident by Sharjah Police at 10.45pm on Tuesday.

Though several shots were fired, only two bullets entered the woman’s body, he added.
