A 52-year-old Indian partner allegedly molested a friend’s wife who went to him for a job interview, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

MLB, 52, agreed with the victim’s husband, MSH, 25, that he will take latter's wife for an interview.

On December 14, 2011, JSA, 21, Pakistani, drove the MLB's car, from her house to the interview.

On their way, MLB pulled the victim’s leg and asked her to move towards him. She got scared, especially as he told her that he liked to eat sweet and that she should be happy as she was getting a reward, the victim testified.

“I sent an SMS to my husband telling him what MLB did. My husband called and heard the conversation between me and MLB… then he talked to MLB and asked him to return me home and so he did,” she testified.

MSH, the victim’s husband, also testified.

MLB admitted to groping the victim’s leg saying he did that as he felt she felt cold.

The court adjourned the case to April 29.

Dad gets 15 years for killing little daughter

A Saudi court sentenced a local man to 15 years in prison for torturing his 10-year-old daughter to death and burying her secretly before the body was unearthed nearly 16 years ago, a newspaper reported on Monday.

Police who found the body of the 10-year-old Hanan kept it in the morgue for several days before burying her as no one claimed the body.

The crime remained unknown all those years until the man’s Asian wife reported him to the police last month for mistreating her and their children.

She then disclosed to police that her 55-year-old husband tortured Hanan to death by tying her to a tree inside their house in the western town of Madina and beating her with a big stick for a long time.

She said her husband then took his dead daughter and secretly buried her in another area in Madina before forcing her and the children to go to nearby Makkah for Umra (mini pilgrimage). The man then went to police in Makkah and claimed that Hanan had disappeared while she was with him during Umra.

“Police then linked the body found 16 years ago to what that wife told them…during interrogation, the man confessed to his crime and showed police where he buried his daughter,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Sharq said.
