The battle lines have been drawn for the epic clash of the two cricket rivals, which will take centrestage on Saturday for the India vs Pakistan World T20 crucial match.

Following India’s 47-run loss to New Zealand in the debacle of a World T20 opener, the boys in blue will be ready to lead the charge against archrivals Pakistan.

However, following the stunning defeat against India in the Asia Cup earlier this month, Pakistan is expected to strike back with a vengeance, according to supporters and fans.

While the stakes are high on both sides, fans are charged to win big on both sides of the border.

Dubai-based Indian cricket fan, Mahesh Thakker, said: “We are ready to Bleed Blue. MS Dhoni (Indian captain) would have certainly cracked the whip for Saturday’s face-off. So, in hindsight, I think the New Zealand loss was in a way, effective for the side to pull up its socks and face the rivals after preparation.”

Pakistani supporter Mushtaq Ahmed said: “Pakistan has rallied following the Asia Cup loss and I think the squad is now more than ready to give India a run for the win.”

Rehaan Khan from India said: “Honestly, the rivalry between the two nations is more political than on the pitch. For someone like me and my friends, its just the vibe and energy of an Indo-Pak clash that really gets us going.”
