Jail for delivery man who molested 8-year-old

A 44-year-old Indian supervisor AAB received three-month jail followed by deportation after he was found guilty of molesting an 8-year old Briton student, the Dubai Criminal Court ruled on Wednesday.

The victim, HWA, testified that the accused touched his private parts when the worker was in his room.

The victim’s 45-year-old father, AD, testified that on September 26, 2011, at around 6pm he received furniture he had bought for his house in the Mirdif area.

“Six workers unloaded the furniture into his house.  As they finished, my wife told me that our son was molested by one of them. I inquired my son about this who told me that the worker was in his room fixing furniture and he was watching him. He carried him by holding him 'inappropriately' and then put him down to the floor telling him “You are very heavy”.

The worker then repeated the same gesture twice and in the third time he molested him,” he testified.

On confronting the workers, they all denied molesting the boy. The father called the police and lodged a complaint. The workers also denied the incident but the boy pointed at the accused.
