Jet skis crash in Mamzar: Dad, daughter injured

A 39-year-old Saudi national and his 15-year-old daughter were injured when their jet ski collided with another driven by a Pakistani national in the Al Mamzar area.

Colonel Abdullah Sultan Al Khayal, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, said the man and his daughter were on their jet ski when another jet ski that was travelling in the opposite direction collided with them.

“With the summer season just around the corner, beachgoers must take precautionary measures while going to the beach and should never endanger their lives and the lives of others. People using water scooters must drive them at low speed and avoid doing stunts,” he added.

Police patrols immediately rushed to the site of the accident and both were taken to Al Qasimi Hospital.
