Officials from Jaipur National University (JNU) were in Dubai recently as part of the initiative to help enhance business partnership between the UAE and India.

“We are trying to provide more medical staff – nurses and technicians - as well as attracting UAE students to our medical university in Jaipur,” said Professor H N Verma, Vice-Chancellor of JNU.

“Jaipur is a famous Indian tourist destination and we have many tourists from the UAE and other Gulf countries visiting the city. Now we are trying to provide medical tourism facilities too so that the number of tourists visiting Jaipur for medical purposes will increase,” said Dr Sandeep Bakshi, Chancellor of JNU.

“We have international students from Nigeria, Sudan, Nepal, Malaysia, and Bhutan and we are trying to attract more NRI students from the region,” he said adding that 150 medical seats are available in the University and Research Center.
