Man drowns in turbulent seas off Ajman

A 45-year-old Egyptian man drowned off Ajman while he was swimming with a friend at dawn on Friday despite official warning to UAE people not to go to the sea on that day.

Ajman’s civil defence rushed to the area after receiving a call from a man that his friend had disappeared while they were swimming at the beach at around 1.45 am.

Civil defence divers combed the area for more than hour before fining the body of the drowned man nearly 100 metres away from the shore.
