Man killed by an exploding tyre

An Egyptian worker in Kuwait was killed after a large tyre he was repairing exploded in his face, the Arabic language daily Alanba said on Thursday.

The 28-year-old man was asked to repair a punctured truck tyre at the auto and tyre company in Kuwait City, the paper said.

“The tyre exploded in his face, killing him instantly…police is investigating the incident,” it said.
