Dubai Health Authority is urging patients to register for the Medicine Home Delivery service for a fee of Dh35 per delivery within Dubai city.

The Medicine Home Delivery Service, provided through courier company Zajel is available outside Dubai city for a higher fee of Dh55, according to DHA sources.

Any patient attending her/his hospital or clinic visit as per scheduled appointment has to fill an Electronic Delivery Request form.
A valid medicine prescription is mandatory and patients have to check the medication upon delivery.
Repeated requests for the same prescription medicine will be ignored, according to DHA.

While patients can request home delivery service any time, Zajel will collect the medicines twice a day, at 10am and 7pm daily seven days a week.
Details like healthcard number, patient’s name, phone numbers, and physical address have to be submitted in the registration form.

As of now the patient has to make cash payment to the delivery boy and the medicine request form is available online at the DHA website.

The facility is currently available from the Rashid Hospital Pharmacy Section, Dubai Hospital Pharmacy Section, Latifa Hospital Pharmacy Section and Dubai Diabetes Center Pharmacy Section.
All the medicines not delivered or returned have to be deposited with the Pharmacies and no medicine is stored by the courier company.
