Minister of Tolerance marks Flag Day, reaffirms UAE unity

Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, has reiterated her loyalty, love and pride for the homeland, saying that the UAE flag represents the country for what it is - a nation of peace, tolerance, prosperity, and coexistence.

In a statement released on the occasion of Flag Day on November 3rd, Sheikha Lubna said, "It is a privilege to be celebrating Flag Day, a national campaign devoted to representing our strength, and expresses our dedication to the preservation of the union."

The minister added that the occasion is also a "Sincere expression of love for the homeland and our gratitude and loyalty to the founders and rulers of our precious nation."

Flag Day is a national campaign which was launched by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in November 2013 to commemorate the swearing in of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the nation.
