Mohamed receives JP Morgan delegation

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received here today a delegation from JP Morgan, headed by Tony Blair and Jamie Dimon, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

The delegation is visiting the country to attend the group's annual board meeting in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the holding of the board meeting in Abu Dhabi. He discussed with the delegation members opportunities for cooperation between the UAE's business sector, JP Morgan and other international financial institutions.

Sheikh Mohamed said the move to hold JP Morgan board meetings in Abu Dhabi reflects the UAE's global position, thanks to its robust economy and attractive investment climate.

The JP Morgan board members expressed their pleasure at visiting and holding their meeting in the UAE and getting acquainted with the successful economic and financial experiment of the UAE.

The JP Morgan board consists of 30 members, including 18 former heads of states and government and four former officials of the US administration.

The meeting was attended by Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, and a number of officials.
