Mohammed bin Zayed receives Eid greetings in Abu Dhabi

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on Friday received at the Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi, crown princes and deputy rulers of various emirates and other well-wishers who called on him to offer Eid greetings.

Sheikh Mohammed exchanged Eid greetings with Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler,

Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla  Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan offered Eid Al Fitr prayers on Friday morning at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Ruler's Representative in the Western Region Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Saif Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a number of other Sheikhs also offered Eid prayers along with Sheikh Mohammed.

Ministers, senior state officials, commissioned and non-commissioned officers, diplomats and a large number of citizens and residents also joined them in prayers at the mosque.

The Eid sermon was performed by Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf Sheikh Hamdan Musallam Al Mazroui, who supplicated to God Almighty to accept the month-long fasting of Muslims in the East and the West.

In his sermon he also appealed to Muslims to benefit from the light the Ramadan has rekindled in their hearts and regulate their behaviours in accordance with the lessons of piety, patience and forbearance the fasting had instilled in their minds.
