Mohammed exchanges Ramadan greetings with Mohammed bin Zayed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed hosted an iftar banquet in honour of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed at Ramadan tent at Atlantis Palm Hotels and Resorts. Then they performed Maghreb prayer asking God Almighty to protect the leadership from harm and sustain the UAE's stability and national cohesion.

Also present at the Iftar banquet were Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Abu Dhabi Executive Council member Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi and Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.

Mohammed receives Ramadan well-wishers

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai received a host of well-wishers on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan at Za'abeel Palace on Friday evening.

The meeting was held with the attendance of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed received congratulation on the blessed occasion of Ramadan from a number of sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, heads and directors of government bodies, senior military officers of the Armed Forces, Police and Ministry of Interior Affairs, former ministers and directors of government institutions as well as retired military officers who also wished His Highness good health and the UAE continuous progress, stability and prosperity.

On his part, Sheikh Mohammed reciprocated their greetings and prayed to Allah to perpetuate such values as tolerance, unity and solidarity in the UAE community. His Highness also discussed several national, humanitarian and religious issues that would play a role in maintaining the prosperity and stability of our country and preserving the nations’ rights.

During the meeting, the gusts lauded His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s initiative to cloth one million deprived children around the world, considering his benevolence a translation of the leadership approach towards helping the poor and needy in the Arab world and beyond.

Also present at the gathering were Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
