With gratitude to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched the hashtag ‘Thankyou_Khalifa’, in Arabic, on his official Twitter page.

Sheikh Mohammed called on the Emirati people to join him in thanking Sheikh Khalifa, who is “the leader and President of our beloved country”.

“Brothers and sisters, on the 4th of January every year we are used to replacing celebration of the Accession Day with a campaign to thank an important segment in the community.

“In this year, our appreciation and thanks will be for the efforts and initiatives that we all witnessed. Thanks to the President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

“We all believe that Khalifa Bin Zayed loves his people, compassionate to everyone, meets their needs, and is close to hearts,” Sheikh Mohammed said.

“He took the responsibility faithfully and capably, and led the UAE to new levels of global development, after the late Sheikh Zayed,” he added.
