More rain on the horizon for UAE after showers in Fujairah, Khorfakkan

A marine warning is also in place with rough to very rough sea at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

After the UAE recorded showers these past two days in the northern emirates, the country’s Met office has forecasted more rain on the horizon for this weekend.

According to the UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the weather over the next three days is expected to be ‘hazy and partly cloudy’.

The NCMS further stated: “The cloud amount increase especially over the eastern, northern areas then extend to some coastal and western regions with some convective clouds and  rain from time to time.”

It further added: “oderate to fresh Northeasterly to easterly winds becoming strong at times, especially over the sea, with cloud activity and dusty climes.”
