Multiple accidents have been reported across Dubai on Monday morning, slowing down travel time for many commuters.
“Multi vehicle #Accident on Floating Bridge from Deira towards Bur Dubai. Please drive carefully,” reads a tweet from the official handle of Dubai Police.
“Three accidents reported already in SZR #Dubai,” tweeted a user who goes by the twitter handle ‘Dubai Traffic’.
They added, “Minor car accident in SMBZR Mirdif exit towards Jebel Ali. Drive safely.”
Another accident was reported on Baghdad Street towards Al Mamzar.
As a result, congestion and tailbacks are being reported, causing delays. Drivers are being urged to take detours wherever possible.
An accident on Sheikh Zayed Road involved an overturned car. “SZR, accident with car turned over at exit before MOE heading from Marina!” tweeted another user.
One of the morning commuters added, “Car flipped on a side under #Dubai Internet City MS #Sharjah direction @RTA is already on scene.”
