New committee to license accident experts

Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior, has ordered the setting up of a committee to develop a mechanism for licensing traffic accident experts nationwide.
 
He urged the Federal Traffic Council to exert efforts to ensure security on roads and enhance the safety of all the road users in accordance with the vision and mission of the Ministry of Interior.
 
Earlier, Sheikh Saif chaired a meeting of the council at the ministry during which the participants reviewed a number of policies in the area of traffic, and the achievements that have been scored so far.
 
The minister listened to a briefing from Major General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Chairman of the Federal Traffic Council, on the results of previous meetings.  
 
Al Zafeen thanked Sheikh Saif for his focus on the issues of traffic and unification of the council's procedures at the state level.
