A new fee of Dh220 has been added by the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department for the opening of all new visa files.
This, according to officials, is applicable in all the emirates.
Speaking to Emirates 24|7, a top official from DNRD confirmed the new fee of Dh220 and said that it is applicable for both UAE nationals and expatriates.
“Both UAE nationals and expatriates will have to pay Dh220 if they want to sponsor any person, including domestic helpers. This fee is an additional fee, and it does not include the other fees of the department.”
