The all-new Maserati Quattroporte has hit the UAE roads with a starting price tag of over half a million dirham.

Al Tayer Motors, one of the UAE’s premier automotive dealerships, has launched the new luxury car with retail starting price of Dh525,000.

The all-new Maserati Quattroporte was recently unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and now makes its entry into regional markets in the Middle East.

Ashok Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, Al Tayer Motors, said: “The all-new Quattroporte sets a new benchmark in its segment and carries forward the brand’s enduring legacy of Italian style, passion and excellence. It is one of the mainstays in Maserati’s growing product portfolio, which we are confident, will enable the brand to reach greater heights over the coming few years.”

The flagship of the Maserati product range is larger, lighter, more luxurious and more practical than the globally acclaimed car it replaces. With a 307 km/h top speed, it is also as fast as most two-door supercars.

Umberto Cini, Managing Director, Maserati General Overseas Markets, said: “Launching the all-new Quattroporte here in the UAE and the region following its international debut emphasises the importance of these markets for our brand. The sixth-generation Quattroporte is the ultimate luxury sports sedan offering high-end sporty performance, uniquely blended with Italian elegance and bespoke materials. We are confident that it will continue to attract customers who are looking for a car that will offer them a luxurious drive while making a statement about their personal style.”

Its V8 twin turbo makes it not only the fastest four-door Maserati ever built, but also the most powerful and the most economical as well.

The direct-injection engine family will boast a 3.8-litre V8 and a 3.0-litre V6, both of which are all new, twin turbo charged, designed by the Maserati Powertrain experts and assembled by Ferrari at Maranello.

The 3.8-litre V8 engine provides Maserati’s new performance benchmark, reaching 100km/h in just 4.7 seconds and achieving a 307km/h top speed. It is 20km/h faster than the Quattroporte Sport GT S and has up to 200Nm more torque as well.

With an eight-speed automatic transmission and both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations (V6 version), it is also the most secure all-weather performance car in Maserati’s history.

To offset its scintillating performance, the V8 Maserati Quattroporte has lowered both its fuel consumption and emissions by 20 percent compared to its predecessor.
