Beachgoers can safely take a swim but weather across the coastal areas of the UAE will continue to remain hot and humid on weekend.
According to the latest forecast by the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, there may not be any major changes in weather condition across the country during the next few days.
“The maximum temperature across the coastal areas will continue to remain between 35°C to 42°C while the minimum temperature can go down upto 27°C. The wind will be light to moderate in general while the sea will remain calm and moderate during the weekend,” a forecaster at NCMS said.
According to its daily forecast, the weather will remain hot in general during the day time, and partly cloudy by afternoon over some eastern areas, with a chance of some towering clouds.
“Light to moderate winds in general. Sea will be slight to moderate with 2-3/4 ft offshore. The relative humidity is likely to increase over some coastal and internal western areas during night and early morning times with a chance of fog,” the forecast added.
The temperature in mountainous areas will go down to a minimum of 22°C to a maximum of 34°C.
