Passports, currency, and now fake parking card

A parking inspector of RTA who smelt the rat while inspecting a car discovered that a parking card pasted on the windscreen of a car was forged.

Abdul Kareem Ateeq, a 45-year-old UAE national saw the card pasted inside the Nissan sedan. Upon closer scrunity he found that the card had originally expired on march 25, 2009 but was forged to make it appear it was valid till December 28, 2011.

The car’s owner a 39-year-old Pakistan salesman SSQ admitted of the charges before the police, the Public Prosecution and the Dubai Criminal Court which is hearing the case.

The case has been adjourned to October 10.
