Adnoc Distribution has announced further price reductions for the refilling of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders of 25lbs capacity at its service stations in the Northern Emirates including Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Effective August 9, Adnoc Distribution has brought down the price to Dh27 per 25lb cylinder from the earlier marked retail price of Dh28.

Khalid Hadi, Vice-President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Adnoc Distribution, said: "In line with the directives of our wise leadership, the reduced price announced by Adnoc Distribution underlines our commitment to customers of LPG cylinders in the Northern Emirates. The price reduction reflects the decline in the prices of oil and gas around the world."

He added: "The demand for LPG cylinders has surged in recent months. As part of our core priority to our customers, Adnoc Distribution is keen to make life more convenient for our customers by passing on the reduced global prices."

Adnoc  Distribution currently provides more than 3,000 subsidised 25lb gas cylinders daily at its service stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Holders of Rahal 'E-Gas' cards in the Northern Emirates are entitled to purchase the subsidised gas cylinders.
