Qatar Airways to hire cabin crew in Dubai next Friday

Qatar Airways will hire both male and female cabin crew staff in Dubai next Friday as it continues expanding its fleet.

The national carrier of Qatar promises tax-free remuneration package including accommodation, allowances and transportation for duty for the jobs to be based in Doha, Qatar.

Qatar’s national carrier has embarked on a massive expansion plan, ordering 50 Boeing 777-9X aircraft worth $19 billion (Dh70 billion) during the Dubai Airshow in November 2013.

One of the fastest growing airlines in the world, Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth in just 16 years of operations, currently flying a modern fleet of 130 aircraft to 133 business and leisure destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and The Americas.

The airline said the candidates should have minimum age of 21 years, minimum arm reach of 212 cms on tip toes and have minimum high school education with fluency in English – both writing and speaking.

The Open Day will be held on Friday, January 10th, 2014, at 2pm at Sheraton Dubai, Mall of the Emirates.

Male candidates going for interview should be wearing formal attire while female have knee length skirt and short sleeve blouse.

The airline said the candidates must bring CV in English personally along with a passport size photo. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend further processes over the next day.

The airline is also seeking applications online from interested applicants based in Dubai. The candidates must submit CV, full length photo, passport size photo and passport copy through the airline’s website by March 31, 2014.
