Ramadan night market: Free medical tests

The 10-day Ramadan night market in Dubai will offer free medical services provided by Canadian Specialist Hospital. During the event, visitors can get themselves tested for blood sugar levels, blood pressure, BMI and vision test, organisers said in a media statement.

The free-to-enter Ramadan night market will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from July 2 to July 11 this year.

The medical tests will provide visitors with the perfect opportunity to understand their health issues and help them streamline their dietary habits for a fitter lifestyle, the statement added. The free screenings could not have come at a better time given the fact that for many people, dietary pattern changes overnight during Ramadan due to long hours of fasting, which can potentially affect blood sugar levels as well blood pressure, it said.

In its fourth season this year, the shopping fiesta is organised by Sumansa Exhibitions.
