RTA accepts vehicle tests conducted in other emirates

The Licensing Agency of the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai accepts technical inspection report of the vehicles by any of testing centers located in the emirates, reported Emarat Al Youm.

Ahmed Hashim Bahrozyan, CEO of the Licensing Agency at RTA, said under the federal system, technical inspection of the vehicle is acceptable from all the competent authorities from any of the emirate in the country.

He revealed that the car owner is obliged to have technical inspection of the vehicle in Dubai when registering and licensing for the first time only.

He added that the owner could go for the technical test in any of the accredited technical federal inspection center within the UAE to renew the vehicle licence.
