Samsung has finally announced the S4 mini, and has sized it up with a 4.8 inch qHD screen and 8 mega pixel camera.
The announcement comes just a month and a half after the Galaxy S4 was released and is an ideal phone for those looking for similar features but a smaller screen size.
Although Samsung has announced that the phone will start selling in London from June 20, it is expected to hit the UAE by July.
Samsung although has not released how much it plans to charge for the new phone.
The instrument has a 4.3” qHD Super AMOLED display, weighs about 107g and compact design and is equipped with a 1.7GHz dual core processor, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera.
The phone also has special features that is there in the S4 such as Sound&Shot, which stores sound and voice together as pictures are taken, and Panorama Shot, which allows users to photograph the full view of their surroundings, S Travel, S Translator, application and Story Album, apart from other features such as share and connect that allows users to share and build connections, listening to the same music and
playing the games together with friends using Group Play feature.
The Galaxy S4 mini will be available in two colors, White Frost and Black Mist. “Commercial availability of the Galaxy S4 mini supporting either 4G LTE, or 3G HSPA+ or 3G Dual SIM, will be determined by market,” the announcement said.
