Saudi, posing as Pakistani, caught robbing shop

A Saudi man posing as a Pakistani expatriate tried to break into a shop to rob its contents, but was arrested by police on a routine patrol near the place.

The cops suspected the man, wearing traditional Pakistani clothes, as he fiddled with shop locks and asked him why he was opening the shop so early.

“When he saw them, he ran away but they chased the man and arrested him. The police found that the man is Saudi -  only dressed like a Pakistani.

“They also searched him and found gloves, a saw and other tool for opening locks,” Sada daily said in a report from the northwestern town of Haql.

Maid ends life at Saudi employer’s home

An African housemaid committed suicide by hanging herself at her employer’s house in Saudi Arabia, the press reported on Sunday.

Her employer called the police after he went into her bedroom and found her hanging by the ceiling at his house in the eastern Al Ihsa province.

Police said they were investigating her motive for the suicide after forensic examination ruled out criminal act.
