Several partial road closures in Sharjah

Several roads in the emirate of Sharjah will be partially closed for periods of time for the purpose of road marking maintenance.

Although roads won’t be closed completely, parts will be closed over the next weeks as road markings will be repainted in several locations, said an official of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA).

The areas where the repainting will take place are Jamal Abdel Nasr Street, Al Mamzar Cornish and the streets of University City.

Alternative routes will be provided during the maintenance work period, overseen by Sharjah Police.

Meanwhile, several road paintings were re-done over the last weeks in and around Sharjah University, on Sheikh Zayed Road, Majid bin Saq al Qasimi Street, and in Azara area.

The SRTA carries out annual maintenance work of road paintings in Sharjah.
