Sharjah orders UoS' male and female students to continue in mix classes

Male and female students of the University of Sharjah's colleges of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and fine art and design will not be divided into separate classes due to the nature of study at the five colleges, according to Sharjah Ruler's Adviser for Higher Education Affairs Dr. Amr Abdul Hameed said.

He stressed that this is in compliance to instructions by His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah and the President of the University of Sharjah.

The other UoS's colleges will continue to divide males and females students into separate classes, the Advisor stated in response to reports today by local newspapers.
