Sharjah Police casts net on Rolla 'illegals'

At least 21 men were nabbed in Rolla area by Sharjah Police for illegally residing in the emirate and engaging in unlawful activities.

While most of them were overstaying their visa, some were absconders. Some were caught for selling illegal phone credit.

Col. Gihad Sahoh, Director, Criminal Investigation, Sharjah Police, said the campaign will continue until Sharjah is free of illegals. He urged residents to notify cops of any untoward activities in their neighbourhoods.

In earlier campaigns several beggars and vendors were arrested.

Yes M, is correct lots of people are selling cell phone standing on the street near to Discount Centre. Women can't walk alone on that street at night.

You can find these men selling credit and fake iphones just outside the Gift Market on Al Wahda Street in Sharjah before City Centre, and standing in groups they keep staring at women and harassing them in the name of giving credit or phone.
