Sheikh Mohammed issues decrees appointing and transferring judges

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued Decrees No (37), (38) and (39) of 2016 appointing and transferring judges in Dubai Courts and the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre.

Decree No (37) of 2016 appoints Judge Ahmed Ibrahim Sulaiman Al Najar, Judge Mohammed Ibrahim Mohamed Al Sadani and Judge Mohammed Abdul Nabi Al Asioti in the Supreme Court and Judge Mustafa Attia Darwish in the Appeal Court. The

Decree also appoints judges Abdul Nasser Abdul Aziz Juma, Abdulwahab Mohamed Al Shafie, Ali Ibrahim Kamona, Faraj Musa Al Galawi, Yasser Abdulrahman Al Feel, Habib Amer Ahmed Awad, Abdulhaleem Hassan Mohammed Abdulmuneam and Mohamed Mustafa Ibrahim Khalil in the First Instances Court.

Decree No (38) of 2016 transfers Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Ali, Khalid Mohammed Noor Karmstji, Mohamed Ahmed Saif Al Kabi, Hareb Mohamed Hareb Al Muhairi, Hassan Ali Hassan Madani and Omer Obaid Al Mansoori from Dubai Police to the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre.

The Decree also transfers Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Idress, Fahad Ahmed Saeed bin Khadem, Yaqeen Abdullah Al Najar Al Hamadi from the Dubai Land Department to the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre.

Decree No (39) of 2016 appoints judges Mohamed Musad Al Sharef, Mohamed Mustafa Al Beshbishi and Ahmed Ramzi Ata Allah in the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre.

According to the Decree, the Chairman of the Rental Disputes Center may assign the judges to their designated departments.

All decrees are effective from their dates of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
