Siamese twins born with joined pelvis

A Saudi mother gave birth to Siamese twins joined at the pelvis but have two heads as well as four limbs each, a newspaper said on Monday.

The twins are still undergoing tests at a government hospital in the southern town of Baha before they are referred to specialized hospital for a separation surgery, the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

“It is a rare case…so far they are in a good condition and all parts of their bodies are normal…they will undergo further tests before they are transferred to King Abdul Aziz military hospital for an operation,” the paper said with mentioning the twin’s sex.
