Six road deaths in the UAE in first 10 days of April

Two persons died in less than four hours on Sunday evening increasing the number of road deaths in the UAE to six in April alone.

While this website had reported yesterday on the death of an Emirati motorist who jumped a red signal, Senior Chief Traffic Prosecutor Salah Bu Farousha Al Falasi, Head of Dubai Traffic Public Prosecution (TPP), said, “"Shortly afterwards around 11:30pm, a 40-year-old Bangladeshi bus driver caused a passenger's death. Due to reckless driving, his bus collided with a huge truck causing the accident on Emirates Road."

He renewed his call to motorists and road users to be more cautious and attentive and abide by traffic rules.
