Ski Dubai: Superheroes get 50% discount

Ski Dubai, the famous indoor ski-themed park in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates, will be offering a 50 per cent discount to anyone who walks in dressed as a superhero this Thursday.

As a special attraction on April’s Freestyle night on Thursday, April 24, all skiing and snowboarding participants who come to Ski Dubai for the Freestyle night (between 8pm and 11pm) dressed as a superhero will receive a 50 per cent discount – and will have to pay only Dh100 instead of the regular Dh200.

Non-skiers usually need to pay Dh100 to enter, but they too can receive a 50 per cent discount and pay only Dh50 if dressed as a superhero, announced The Playmania, owned and operated by MAF Leisure & Entertainment, a subsidiary of shopping malls operator MAF.

In addition to the themed X-men jumps, obstacles and challenges,
non-skiers and snowboarders will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of free falling from a custom built 12-metre tall tower that allows them to jump onto a massive 10 metre wide airbag, nestled inside the snow-capped hills of Ski Dubai.

A night that typically gives skiers and snowboarders the chance to show off their skills, the latest X-men themed freestyle night goes beyond all that has been offered previously and celebrates adventure, excitement and the magic of cinema ahead of the release of X-men in May 2014.

As a special attraction on the night, a parkour show of synchronized jumps onto the mega-airbag will also be shown at 7pm.
