Student killed by speeding car in Sharjah

A 23-year-old African student at Al Qassimiya University in Sharjah died on Saturday after he was run over by a speeding car last Thursday.

The student from Ivory Coast was cycling just near the university when he was hit by the car in Muwaileh area in the Northern Emirate.

He was rushed to hospital in critical condition and died two days later.
