Taj Arabia project in Dubai’s FalconCity of Wonder will  be opened to public in 2015, according to its developer.

“We’re all set to build this magnificent architectural wonder with a target completion in phased manner by 2015,” Link Global Group Company Director Arun Mehra, said.

“We are currently in negotiation with construction companies and we are confident of the success of Taj Arabia Resort as a preferred top destination for celebrations, weddings, major events and will bring about romance for couples and honeymooners in Dubai.”

Taj Arabia Palace Resort, they key component of the project, will consist of a 400-key five-star resort and over 300 service apartments. It will be managed by The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, a palace hotel chain from India.

Emirates 24/7 reported on April 24th that the Taj Arabia Palace Resort will be manage by Leela Palaces with work commencing in June. The project was originally planned to open in 2014.

Taj Arabia Palace Resort, a wedding destination, will resemble the shape of Taj Mahal, a timeless tribute to love (monument of love). It will be “several” times larger, comprising verdant gardens, water fountains and flowing streams, the developer said. It will be surrounded by Indian Raj and Mughal architectural landmarks which will feature retail and residential components.

The resort will feature wedding boutiques, a gold jewelry souk and banquet halls to accommodate 3,000 people. The promenade will have eateries, bars and lifestyle outlets.

The Land of India project has over 2.3 million square feet of built-up area, with large acres of greenery and at its heart is the Taj Arabia Resort.

Originally, the project was to have one million square feet of residential area with freehold apartments and penthouses, but the size of residential components has been reduced to accommodate more retail and hospitality venues, the source said.

FalconCity is a multipurpose mega project located in Dubailand and will feature structures based on famous sites and architectural marvels of the world such as the Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Eiffel Tower and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
