Thieves and housemaids on the run arrested

Following numerous complaints of robbery in Sharjah, police along with CID officials set the trap and busted a gang of Pakistanis who regularly broke into shops around the emirate. The operation also led to the arrest of a vehicle stealer and several African housemaids who were on the run. 

Three men were arrested while attempting to break into a shop, according to a police source. The accused confessed to breaking into 15 shops in Sharjah and stealing electric cables and other equipment.
 
CID officials of Sharjah Police also arrested a vehicle stealer, ALA, Comorian, when they were following up a complaint of a missing car from Sharjah Industrial area. Several motorcycles, number plates of cars, face masks, gloves and the missing car was confiscated from his house. ALA confesed to stealing all items and told he sold the vehicles he stole from various emirates.

In another raid, CID officials found a number of African housemaids, all of whom had run away from their sponsors. They have been handed over to the concerned authorities.
